We combine underwater hyperspectral imaging and AI-based automated data processing to map the seafloor quicker, more efficiently and in greater detail. We have developed our own seafloor surveying solution to create a range of data products from the survey data. By ground-truthing aerial and satellite imagery, we unlock blue nature-based solutions around the globe and contribute to revealing the seafloor’s true economic and ecological value.
Over the past years, our technical teams have steadily grown to 10+ people. Since we develop and incoperate both hardware and software, we have a broad set of specialties from data science to electronics and software. Your work will be key to advance planblue’s technologies, ensure delivery of data products to our customers, and further expand the technical teams.
Supporting the technical teams and being responsible for the planning, development, execution and delivery of the short- and long-term technical roadmaps at planblue.
You’ll have 10+ years of professional work experience, e.g., in the geospatial, maritime or aerospace industry in a similar senior role, supporting teams of engineers and developers.
You are well versed in agile methodologies.
You are knowledgeable in the development of survey equipment or have relevant experience with other hardware development.
You are proficient in developing in geospatial data products or have applicable experience with other software development.
You have been successful at managing complex, cross-domain projects.
